Ursa Minor no longer offers the Gobi ladder as a factory installed option on the ECamper, and will not stock the ladder as an accessory in our parts store.
Background
At our request some years ago Gobi began offering a rear hatch ladder specific to the Ursa Minor ECamper. This allows exit from the camper from the outside.
The standard Gobi Honda Element ladder will hit the the camper when the hatch is opened, the Gobi ECamper ladder will not. With generally declining production volume of the ECamper after 16 years, we have placed smaller orders for these ladders every year, but lead times for bulk orders remain quite long. Gobi in turn has focused on direct to consumer sales, and customers have found that they can order this ladder direct from Gobi and receive in days, while our ability to offer it requires large orders that can take months to arrive, and months to sell.
Note: The ladder remain available for interested owners to order direct from Gobi. Installation take 15 minutes with minimal tools. Ursa Minor is happy to install in our shop if the customer brings the part.
